This section provides a complete alphabetical listing of Lansdowne Park's policies and services.

Alcohol Game Plan

Lansdowne Park strives to ensure a pleasant and safe environment for customers by promoting responsible drinking. To help maintain a safe alcohol game plan, alcoholic beverages will not be sold before the gates open for any event. As well, alcoholic beverages will not be sold:

  • at the start of the third period during hockey games.
  • at the start of the fourth quarter of football games.
  • after 1 a.m. for private functions.
  • after the time designated by Lansdowne Park Administration (for other sports and exhibition events).

Customers may purchase only two beers each at one time. Customers must be prepared to present valid identification. When deemed necessary by Lansdowne Park staff, voluntary searches of suspicious bags and packages may take place.

Animals

Animals or pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted inside Lansdowne Park facilities. Animals intended to be part of an exhibit or event activity may be permitted subject to the event producer or manager receiving written authorization from Lansdowne Park Administration

Amenities for People with Disabilities

Lansdowne Park is committed to meeting the needs of all its patrons. The Park has made as many of its facilities as possible accessible to people with disabilities. Automated Teller Machines

Don't worry about getting cash before the game. You can get it from the automated teller located in the outer lobby of Gate 1 in the Civic Centre Arena and throughout the various building at Trader Consumer Shows.

Cameras and Video Cameras

Copyright laws make it illegal to record, photograph or film a concert-this clause is often in performers' contracts. Patrons who bring cameras into the Park will be asked to return them to their cars or leave them with the security office until the end of the show.

Cellular Phones

Cellular Phones are permitted at all events provided they do not interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the event.

Containers, bottles and cans

Containers, bottles and cans are considered projectiles which could inflict both harm to other patrons and damage to property and equipment. As a result, these items are not permitted in the Park.

Dry Seating (Non-Alcoholic)

Customers can find dry-seating in the Ottawa Civic Centre in the following sections:
  • lower 24,
  • upper 16, and
  • upper 27.

First Aid

First aid is on site for most major event. First Aid is located at Arena Gate #1 or an attendant can be dispatched by contacting a security guard.

Food and Beverages

Aramark Corporation is the official provider of concession food and beverages at Lansdowne Park. Outside food and beverages are not allowed into the Park. Catering must be provided by Aramark Corporation.

New! High Speed Internet Access Services

Lansdowne Park has teamed up with Rogers Communications and BOLDstreet Wireless to offer high-speed Internet access throughout Lansdowne Park.

Exhibitors: Exhibitors taking part in shows and other events at Lansdowne Park can now order high-speed Internet services for events taking place within Lansdowne Park. Services are available for wireless computers and devices (those enabled with 802.11 b/g network card or adapter), as well as non-wireless devices (those that typically plug into a wall jack for Internet access). Services are available at special introductory rates for the duration of any indoor event at Lansdowne Park. Public Hotspot:
Hotspot service is now available for connections of one hour or less in all major buildings at Lansdowne Park, as Lansdowne joins the national network of Rogers Wireless Hotspots. Visitors to Lansdowne Park can use their Wi-Fi enabled device to stay connected and productive. Look for the hotspot_Rogers network name when you turn on your wireless device.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found is located at the Park's security office during the show or event, and at our operations area afterward. For more information, please call 613-580-2428, ext. 23060.

Parking

Public Transportation

OC Transpo provides excellent bus service to and from the Park. Bus routes 1 and 7 travel along Bank Street, and patrons are dropped off just outside the main entrance. For a map and more information, call OC Transpo at 613-741-4390.

Smoking

Lansdowne Park facilities are considered non-smoking at all times.
